Teacher’s Training Programme at IIT -Mumbai

Sub: Teacher's trining program in PV

National Center for Photovoltaic Research and Education (NCPRE) together with National Mission on Education through ICT (MHRD) at IIT Bombay is going to organize teachers training program for college teachers on the area of solar photovoltaics (PV). The title of the training workshop is "'Solar Photovoltaics: Fundamentals, Technologies and Applications". The training program will be conducted in two stages.

In first stage, IIT Bombay invites participants at IITB campus to have 5 day workshop (IITB provides all expenses including TA/DA), this is called coordinators workshop. The institutes of these participants then become host for conducting second stage training at their own institutes. The second stage training is also provided by IITB faculty members through distance education mode. IITB covers all expenses for hosting the second stage of training program including TA/DA of participants at host centers. In order to become host center the institute should become 'remote center' for receiving courses from IITB. If your organization is not remote center, it can become one.

There are only 35 sits for the coordinators workshop for participants across the country.

Following documents are attached:
