Job Description: 
Extensive experience with a wide range of Enterprise class Cisco products including switches, wireless and routers.
Extensive experience with 6500 series products and 3750 switches. 
Experience in large, mission critical network environments 
Proven ability to research new concepts, ideas and technologies
Excellent, demonstrable troubleshooting skills. 
Able to complete root cause analysis and resolution. 
Good understanding of layer 2 and layer 3 protocols, ie spanning tree, trunks, etherchannel, VLAN, EIGRP and some knowledge of BGP 
Strong understanding and practical experience in network security principles, including device hardening; Firewall and IPS policy and procedures. 
Experience with Checkpoint products Firewall (essential), IPS (desirable), Secure Platform (desirable) ? Riverbed knowledge (preferred); understanding of WAN optimization concepts ? Juniper firewall management an d configuration (desirable) 
Experience with F5 BigIP (desirable) or similar HA/LB technologies

Responsibilities: 
CCNA (essential); CCNP (desirable) Checkpoint Certified Security Administrator (preferred) 4 or 4+ yrs of exp is required extensive experience with a wide range of Enterprise class Cisco products including switches, wireless and routers. Extensive experience with 6500 series products and 3750 switches.
