OVERVIEW:
MEP Project Manager to administer the construction and delivery of projects including planning, commercial, engineering, site works, documentation and handover to the client.


ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
At least 10-15yrs MEP Project Management experience
Degree qualified
Middle East work experience
Must be willing to live in Abu Dhabi


ROLE:
1. To act as the project team leader controlling all aspects of the works including, planning,
administration, commercial, engineering, site works, documentation and handover to the client.
2. Delegate work to the project team and monitors the progress to completion.
3. Ensure the works comply with the contract documents including drawings and specifications.
4. Ensure that the works are completed on time, notifying the client of any delays and valuing the
costs associated with the delays.
5. Prepare both progress and financial management reports at regular intervals throughout the
project.
6. Maintain good relationships with the client and professional team to establish the company as the
contractor of choice.
7. Develop and administers the project budget and controls expenditure to ensure the budget profit is
achieved.
8. Oversee all aspects of the day-to-day management of the project.
9. Instigate the project planning and review of progress against targets set.
10. Establish the project construction methodology with the project team.
11. Control the value engineering, design, sub contractor and material selection.
12. Co-ordinate the work of all in-house staff, suppliers and sub contractor.
13. Ensure that the works are installed to the specifications, quality and other requirements detailed
in the contract documents.
14. Monitor expenditure against the project budget.
15. Ensure instructions are received for additional work and the value agreed with the client.
16. Make regular applications for payment and collects cash to achieve positive cash flow.
17. Meet regularly with the client and professional team at site and social events to develop close
business relationships.
